“Facilitator's Toolkit for Totsu-totsu Dance”

We are pleased to announce that the "Toolkit," a guide designed for those interested in "Totsu-totsu Dance" workshops, including dancers and care facility staff looking to implement the practice, will be available online (free to download) starting March 14, 2026.

This toolkit goes beyond merely explaining the principles and philosophy of the practice; it conveys the "living touch" and essence behind it, featuring concrete examples of its application. Rather than being a manual, it was created to be as a "friendly companion"—a presence that walks alongside the practitioner.
実践のための理念や哲学を解説するだけでなく、その背景にある実践の「生きた手触り」を伝えることや具体的な実践例を掲載。いわゆるマニュアルではなく、実践者に寄り添う「親しい伴走者」のような存在となることを目指して制作されました。

The text was written by Singaporean artist Michael Cheng, who joined the "Totsu-totsu Dance" project in 2023, drawing from dialogues held in Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan from 2022.
2022年から行ってきたシンガポール、マレーシア、日本での対話をもとに、2023年から＜とつとつダンス＞に参加したシンガポールのアーティスト、マイケル・チェンが執筆。
