ダンサー・振付家の砂連尾理（じゃれお・おさむ）と非営利の文化活動団体torindo（トリンド）による《とつとつダンス》。近年その活動を、オンラインや海外にも広げる《とつとつダンス》の“今”を共有するトークイベント・ワークショップを水性-suisei-（東京都中野区）で行います。

《とつとつダンス》は、砂連尾理とtorindoが2009年から2020年まで京都府舞鶴市にある特別養護老人ホーム グレイスヴィルまいづるとともに行ってきた認知症高齢者・障害者と介護者とのダンスワークショップとダンス公演の名称です。2020年以降、その活動の場をオンラインや関東圏・鹿児島、さらには、海外へと広げ、国内外の複数のダンサーやアーティストを交えながら、認知症や高齢者の方、介護者の方とともに、ケアとアートをめぐる交流・対話の場を広げています。

2025年8月には、マレーシアの国際舞台芸術祭「ジョージタウン・フェスティバル」に参加し、地元のダンサー・アーティスト、高齢者、介護者とともに舞台公演を開催。2日間で計240名の方にご覧いただきました。
“からだ”による「とつとつダンス」の表現としてパフォーマンスを行う一方で、近年取り組んできた“ことば”による表現のひとつとして、今年度は、とつとつダンスの指南本といえる「ツールキット」をシンガポールのチームと制作しています。

1月24日（土）、25日（日）の2日間、《とつとつダンス》の軸である“ことば”と“からだ”、この 2本の柱に焦点を当て、トークイベントと、制作中の「ツールキット」を活用したワークショップを行います。各日、終わった後に参加者同士が気軽に参加できる交流会も行います。

【1日目】

《とつとつダンス》の“ことば”を考える

シンガポールのチームと制作している、とつとつダンスの指南本「ツールキット」を活用し、ワークショップを行います。ファシリテーターは、大阪公演（2025年1月開催）に出演したダンサー・大迫健司が務めます。
その後、ワークショップをもとに、参加者の皆さんとカフェ形式の対話の場を設けます。

《とつとつダンス》の“からだ”を考える

国内外で活躍するダンサーの湯浅永麻さんをトークゲストに迎え、《とつとつダンス》の近年の活動を振り返ります。《とつとつダンス》の今年度の活動紹介・映像上映のほか、近年、様々な背景の人々とともにダンス創作やワークショップを実践する湯浅さんの活動についてお話を伺います。その後、湯浅さんと砂連尾理による対談を開催。認知症者・高齢者や障害のある方をはじめ、多様な人々とともにつくるダンス作品や活動の意義を見つめ直す機会とします。17:00からは、参加者のみなさんと語り合う交流会の場も設けます。ぜひご来場ください。

【ゲストプロフィール】

湯浅永麻（ゆあさ えま）
広島出身、オランダ在住のダンサー／振付家。ヨーロッパのコンテンポラリーシーンを牽引するネザーランドダンスシアターに11年半在籍、様々な著名振付家の作品、新作に携わり世界中をツアー。退団後は演劇などでも活躍すると同時に振付家として建築家、ファッションデザイナー、メディアアーティスト、音楽家などジャンルを超えたアーティストたちとのコラボレーション作品やインスタレーションを発表。近年はダンスをコミュニケーションツールとして捉え、ダンスの経験のない人も対象にしたプロジェクト”nosmosis research”を立ち上げ、立場や環境が違うもの同士がダンスを介して関わり合うことをテーマに活動。ダンスの枠組みに捉われない幅広い分野で、海外と日本を横断し活躍している。

【登壇者プロフィール】

砂連尾 理（じゃれお おさむ）
振付家、ダンサー。1991年、寺田みさことダンスユニットを結成。2002年「TOYOTA CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD 2002」にて「次代を担う振付家賞」「オーディエンス賞」をW受賞。2004年、京都市芸術文化特別奨励者。2008年度文化庁・在外研修員としてドイツ・ベルリンに1年間滞在。ドイツの障害者劇団や舞鶴・国内外の高齢者、宮城の避難所生活者への取材を元にした作品など、病、障害を〈生きる過程にある変容〉と捉え、対話を通したダンス作品を制作する。また、濱口竜介、山城知佳子の映画作品への振付・出演のほか、展覧会、芸術祭に招聘作家として多数参加。著書に『老人ホームで生まれた〈とつとつダンス〉─ダンスのような、介護のような─』。立教大学 現代心理学部・映像身体学科教授。

大迫 健司（おおさこ けんじ） 
ダンサー。元々は俳優。ダンスカンパニー『zerＯ』、『関かおりPUNCTUMUN』の所属を経て、現在はフリー。自分なりの「生きる」ことが、自分なりの「踊り」になれるといいなと思い始める。立ち位置の関係性から場や空間にアプローチしていくyield(イールド)というボディーワークに出会い、学び始める。からだにある原初的な層でのコミュニケーション、その質と場・空間の関係に興味のベースが置かれるようになる。

神村 恵（かみむら めぐみ）
2004年より自身の作品の振付・上演を開始し、国内外で公演を行う。津田道子とのユニット「乳歯」、高嶋晋一とのユニット「前後」など美術家との共同も多く、ダンスに収まらないパフォーマンス作品も発表。近年の主な作品に『彼女は30分前にはここにいた。#2』（2020年、国際芸術センター青森）、『新しい稽古』（2023年、BankART KAIKO）など。場所との応答関係で動かされる身体に関心を持ち、2022年、東京都国分寺市にてスタジオ「ユングラ」の運営を開始。複数のアーティストとのコレクティブ「プロジェクト・ユングラ」を始動し、音楽／ダンス作品『Living Room/Living Sound』の上演や、『ユングラ稽古会シリーズ』などを行う。2021〜24年度、セゾン・フェローⅡ。とつとつダンスには、2022年より参加。 

石田 智哉（いしだ ともや）
映画監督。筋ジストロフィーによる電動車椅子ユーザー。立教大学現代心理学研究科修士課程卒業。中学生の頃、自分に合った学習方法としてiPadを紹介され、そこでの短編映像の制作をきっかけに映像制作に興味を持つ。ボランティアサークル「バリアフリー映画上映会」実行委員を務め、上映会の企画・運営を行う。初監督作品「へんしんっ！」がぴあフィルムフェスティバル「PFFアワード2020」グランプリを受賞。

“Words and Bodies” — Totsu-totsu Dance 2025 Sharing & Reflection Gathering

“Totsu-totsu Dance”, a project led by dancer and choreographer Osamu Jareo and the non-profit cultural organization torindo, will present a talk event and workshop at suisei (Nakano, Tokyo). The program will introduce the current developments of Tototsu Dance, which in recent years has expanded both online and internationally.

“Totsu-totsu Dance” originated from a series of dance workshops and performances conducted from 2009 to 2020 in collaboration with Graceville Maizuru, a special nursing home in Maizuru, Kyoto. These activities were created together with older adults living with dementia, persons with disabilities, and their caregivers. Since 2020, the project has broadened its scope to include online programs, initiatives in the Kanto region and Kagoshima, and collaborations overseas. Through the involvement of domestic and international dancers, artists, older adults, people with dementia, and caregivers, “Totsu-totsu Dance” continues to cultivate a space for dialogue and exchange at the intersection of art and care.

In August 2025,“Totsu-totsu Dance” participated in the George Town Festival, an international performing arts festival held in Malaysia. Together with local dancers, artists, older adults, and caregivers, the project presented a stage performance attended by a total of 240 audience members over two days.
Alongside its performance-based activities, “Totsu-totsu Dance” is also developing new forms of expression through language. This year, the team is working with collaborators in Singapore to create a Toolkit—a practical guide designed to support facilitators and practitioners of “Totsu-totsu Dance”.

On January 24 (Saturday) and January 25 (Sunday), a two-day program will be held focusing on the two central pillars of “Totsu-totsu Dance”: “words” and “bodies.” The event will consist of a talk session and a workshop utilizing the Toolkit currently in development. A casual gathering will follow each day’s program to encourage further exchange among participants.

Exploring the “Words” of Tototsu Dance

Using the Toolkit—the practical guide to “Totsu-totsu Dance” currently being developed with our team in Singapore—we will conduct a workshop led by dancer Kenji Osako, who recently performed in the Osaka production (January 2025).
Following the workshop, we will hold a café-style dialogue session for participants to share reflections and discuss ideas generated through the program.

Exploring the “Bodies” of Tototsu Dance

For Day 2, we welcome dancer Ema Yuasa, who is active both in Japan and internationally, as our featured talk guest. We will review the recent activities of Tototsu Dance, share documentation and video materials from this year’s programs, and hear about Yuasa’s work in performance creation and workshops with people of diverse backgrounds.
A dialogue between Ema Yuasa and Osamu Jareo will follow, offering an opportunity to reflect on the meaning and significance of creating dance works and activities together with people living with dementia, older adults, people with disabilities, and other diverse communities.
An informal gathering for participants will take place after the program, starting at 17:00.
