Osamu Jareo (Choreographer / Dancer)

Osamu Jareo is a choreographer and dancer. In 1991, he co-founded a dance duo with Misako Terada. He received both the “Next Generation Choreographer Award” and the “Audience Award” at the Toyota Choreography Award 2002. In 2004, he was selected as a Special Cultural Encouragement Artist by the City of Kyoto. From 2008, he spent one year in Berlin as a Japanese Government Overseas Research Fellow for Artists.

Jareo’s work is rooted in the belief that illness and disability are transformations that occur as part of life. Drawing from interviews and research with diverse communities—including a German theater company of performers with disabilities, elderly residents in Maizuru and abroad, and people living in evacuation shelters in Miyagi—he creates dance works that emerge through dialogue and shared experience.

In addition to choreographing and performing in films by directors such as Ryusuke Hamaguchi and Chikako Yamashiro, he has participated in numerous exhibitions and arts festivals as an invited artist. He is the author of “Totsu Totsu Dance: Born in a Nursing Home – Something Like Dance, Something Like Care”. Jareo currently serves as a professor in the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts at Rikkyo University’s College of Contemporary Psychology.

Megumi Kamimura (Choreographer / Dancer)

Megumi Kamimura has been choreographing and presenting her own works since 2004, performing both in Japan and internationally. She frequently collaborates with visual artists, including in the units Nyūshi (with Michiko Tsuda) and Zengo (with Shinichi Takashima), creating performance works that transcend conventional definitions of dance.

Her recent major works include She Was Here Half an Hour Ago #2 (2020, Aomori Contemporary Art Centre) and New Practice (2023, BankART KAIKO). Kamimura is particularly interested in the body as it responds to and is moved by specific environments and contexts. In 2022, she established Studio Yungura in Kokubunji, Tokyo, and launched the collective Project Yungura with multiple artists. Together, they have produced works such as the music/dance piece Living Room / Living Sound and the Yungura Keiko-kai Series.

She has been a Saison Fellow II from 2021 to 2024, and has been a participant in Totsu Totsu Dance since 2022.

Chloe Tan

Chloe Tan, a graduate of ASWARA with a Diploma in Dance (2014), works across dance, physical theatre, and shadow play. She is curious and drawn to works that explore the stories the body carries and the quiet power it holds. Chloe sees the body and movement as a way of making sense of the world—one that helps us listen more closely to ourselves and each other. She currently facilitates dance/movement therapy sessions while working toward accreditation as a dance/movement therapist with the Dance/Movement Therapy Association of Australasia (DTAA). 

Recent performances include A World in The City (2024), Switchblade Operation: The Longing (2023), Rivers in The Sky (2023), Adaptation (2022), and Dead Water (2022).

Silver Yee

Silver Yee is a movement-based artist whose work spans contemporary dance, dance theatre, site-specific performance and dance film. Her creative process is rooted in collaboration and a deep curiosity for the body in space and time. Through movement research, she investigates how embodied practices shape personal and collective meaning.

砂連尾理（振付家・ダンサー） 

振付家、ダンサー。1991年、寺田みさことダンスユニットを結成。2002年「TOYOTA CHOREOGRAPHY AWARD 2002」にて「次代を担う振付家賞」「オーディエンス賞」をW受賞。2004年、京都市芸術文化特別奨励者。2008年度文化庁・在外研修員としてドイツ・ベルリンに1年間滞在。ドイツの障害者劇団や舞鶴・国内外の高齢者、宮城の避難所生活者への取材を元にした作品など、病、障害を〈生きる過程にある変容〉と捉え、対話を通したダンス作品を制作する。また、濱口竜介、山城知佳子の映画作品への振付・出演のほか、展覧会、芸術祭に招聘作家として多数参加。著書に『老人ホームで生まれた〈とつとつダンス〉─ダンスのような、介護のような─』。立教大学 現代心理学部・映像身体学科教授。

神村恵（振付家・ダンサー） 

2004年より自身の作品の振付・上演を開始し、国内外で公演を行う。津田道子とのユニット「乳歯」、高嶋晋一とのユニット「前後」など美術家との共同も多く、ダンスに収まらないパフォーマンス作品も発表。近年の主な作品に『彼女は30分前にはここにいた。#2』（2020年、国際芸術センター青森）、『新しい稽古』（2023年、BankART KAIKO）など。場所との応答関係で動かされる身体に関心を持ち、2022年、東京都国分寺市にてスタジオ「ユングラ」の運営を開始。複数のアーティストとのコレクティブ「プロジェクト・ユングラ」を始動し、音楽／ダンス作品『Living Room/Living Sound』の上演や、『ユングラ稽古会シリーズ』などを行う。2021〜24年度、セゾン・フェローⅡ。とつとつダンスには、2022年より参加。 

クロエ・タン（Chloe Tan）

クロエ・タンは、マレーシア国立芸術文化遺産大学（ASWARA）でダンスのディプロマを取得（2014年）後、ダンス、フィジカル・シアター、シャドウ・プレイ（影絵）など多様な表現分野で活動しています。身体が内包する物語や、その静かな力に惹かれ、探究を続けています。彼女にとって身体と動きは、世界を理解し、自分自身や他者の声に耳を傾けるための方法でもあります。

現在はダンス／ムーブメント・セラピーのセッションをファシリテートしながら、オーストラレーシア・ダンス／ムーブメント・セラピー協会（DTAA）の認定セラピスト資格取得に向けて研鑽を積んでいます。

近年の主な出演作に、『A World in The City』（2024）、『Switchblade Operation: The Longing』（2023）、『Rivers in The Sky』（2023）、『Adaptation』（2022）、『Dead Water』（2022）などがあります。

シルバー・イー（Silver Yee）

コンテンポラリーダンス、ダンスシアター、サイトスペシフィック・パフォーマンス、ダンスフィルムなど、幅広い領域にわたって活動するムーブメント系アーティストです。彼女の創作プロセスは、協働を基盤とし、空間と時間の中にある身体への深い探究心に根ざしています。ムーブメント・リサーチを通して、身体を通じた実践がいかにして個人および集団の意味形成に寄与するのかを問い続けています。
